Opening Post:
This blog is being started with a transfer over from my old Live Journal, so there will be some random entries before it turns into mostly travel. -Nov 29, 2024 Welcome to my LJ. I don't know how often I'll post, but I finally felt like getting around to one. Most likely I'll use this to rant occasionally when the mundanity in my life gets to be to much. I'm home for Christmas at the moment, and somethings been bugging me. I get along great with my parents but its awfully hard to talk to them. I can talk about work/engineering stuff with my dad just fine and even some social stuff but not much. My mom is a pastor and that makes things harder. I'm still nominally Christian, but my beliefs are rather personalized and pantheistic. This is not something I can really discuss with them. It's all little things like this, and probably wouldn't be a problem, even if I did talk to them, but it's just not something I can do. At that, I realize I'm pretty well ...
