Dragon Con
Well I finally broke down and went to a Con. Like most things I was dragged into it by a friend and really enjoyed the experience. I suppose this means I should do more of the things that I've been meaning to, but never seem to get around to. Anyway, J was on staff for one of the tracks, which meant I got a good deal on a hotel room (sharing with 4 other people admittedly) and a ride down to Con with her. We left early thursday from Richmond, stopped briefly around lunchtime and made it to Atlanta around maybe 7:30. Another of J's friends and I went and stood in the registration line for the better part of two hours and then ran around trying to meet back up with J and the rest of her group. We eventually found them and then I headed back to the hotel. Rested briefly and then got drunk in another hotel room with J's group (didn't take much I hadn't really eaten).
